Mercedes-Benz GLB Review
Our first 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB Review happened today. Many people have been awaiting the successor to the GLK. You may be thinking, wasn’t the GLC the successor. You may also have thought the GLA was the successor. The GLC and GLA are extremely popular and in some ways, they did fill the void left by the discontinued GLK. But, we have heard from so many people that the box / edgy styling of the very upright GLK could never be replaced, and wasn’t done so by either the GLC or GLA.

Seating, Space and Sun
Compact outside, the GLB’s accommodations go big: 40/20/40-split 2nd-row seat backs adjust to seven positions or fold flat. An EASY-ENTRY feature eases access to the available 50/50-split 3rd-row seat. With all the rear seats down, there’s 1,805 litres of cargo room.
The GLB puts more than adventure in reach. Generous standard luxuries include a Panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, front-seat memory, and dual climate zones. Upscale options include a hands-free tailgate, heated steering wheel, and Climate Comfort front seats.
4MATIC: Confidence on and off road
Standard 4MATIC all-wheel drive can vary the front/rear torque split to optimize stability, handling and efficiency based on available grip at each wheel. An available Off-Road Engineering Package adds a loose-surface drive mode, Downhill Speed Regulation, an off-road graphic display, and more.
Advanced Driver Assists
With Next-generation options help smooth any journey: Change lanes with a tap of a turn signal. Park hands-free. Adaptive cruise can help steer, stop-and-go in traffic, even slow for an off-ramp. Advanced tech can even help “cover your ears” before a crash.
