CanmoreOne-hour West of Calgary on the Trans-Canada nestled in the Alberta Rockies, you can escape the hectic city life and get out somewhere absolutely beautiful without spending hours on the road. There’s plenty of romantic restaurants on Main Street for you to explore. Take a drive up to Spray Lakes, enjoy the scenic mountains explore the Nordic Centre or venture over to Ha-Lin Peak for a breath-taking view. It’s A great alternative to the ever-busy Banff.2. Banff Only 15-minutes past Canmore, Banff is always full of things to do with your special someone, your family or a group of friends. Browse the Main strip, visit one of the town’s many candy-shoppes, go explore the famous Banff hot springs or take the gondola up a mountain. For something truly special, go visit the Banff Springs Hotel and enjoy their famed Sunday brunch while taking in the beautiful views of the historic hotel and its mountain surroundings. 3.
